I booked on the flipkey website for a vacation rental in Miami for the 06/08. I paid the initial deposit of $218. A few days before our arrival I decided to pay online once again not realizing that Flipkey were double booking me. That was another $218. Upon our arrival the manager of the unit demanded extra cash. I refused to pay. A few days before our arrival I sent an e mail to Flipkey asking them to call me to ensure that everything was in order. I got an e mail response from Flipkey asking me to contact the owner Oleg Ross. I called him and under his instructions which was I should pay I paid online. Oleg was fully aware of the double booking but turned a blind eye. He was prepared to cancel the double booking upon our arrival. However when we saw the unit it was unfit for human habitation. It was in a very unhygenic state and filthy. We refused to stay in it. Oleg then refused to cancel the double booking. Flipkey now refuses to refund our $436 citing their terms and condition which states regardless if it is unfit for human habitation we have to stay in it or lose the deposit. The manager is hiding behind his e mails and refuses to provide a phone number so that I can talk
