I am still having trouble with the architect series. Some windows won't open, one opens and won/t stay open. Dealing with the service department continues to be a nightmare. They canceled today and would not give me a reschedule date - said they would call back today or monday. I have been waiting since July (after the July service call) to get the parts and the service person back. I have had intermittent problems since 2005. The windows still do not lock properly - but I have give up on that as the tech cannot resolve this. I have missed countless days of work waiting for service and they don't seem to care. Service es not even make an effort to try to work around my schedule. They just call you with a date and if you can't take that day off from work you are stuck with waiting an additional month or more.
I am not an unkind or nasty person, but this service department is making me one. I am getting so frustrated. I did call pella in July but never heard back from that rep either. I called the 800 #
