Mobile Home Park, Las Cruces, NM and Parent Company ARC Residential Communities A very poorly managed senior mobile home park, owned by a dishonest parent company. Encantada Senior Mobile Home Park isn't even a senior park anymore! They changed to "an over 40" park w/o telling any of the residents! The office is VERY poorly managed, we were referred to a mobile home broker when we decided we wanted to move, and then the park tried to keep the broker out of the park because he had been selling too many homes that were moved to another location! Who would want to live there?
We finally had to pay the broker a considerable sum of money to be released from our sales contract, as it was impossible to sell our home w / the office interfering and actively attempting to keep the broker out of the park. We found another broker, sold our home, and then the office refused to refund our lot rental money. Oh, that idiotic manager had a thousand lies about this matter. We finally had to file complaints with the Better Business Bureaus in both New Mexico and Colorado (home of Encantada Park's parent company ARC). This finally resulted in a refund, but the company is still attempting to steal some of our money, since the office said we didn't return our keys or clicker for the park's gate (which often was broke). All lies. We returned everything, their manager is just so incompetent that she can't get even this right.
At this current time, we are waiting to hear from ARC to see about the rest of our deposit. If it isn't returned to us, we are filing complaints with the attorney general's offices in Colorado and New Mexico. Truly, this park, and ARC Residential Communities, are two of the worst companies you would ever want to deal with in the US.
