Visiting angels is corrupt from top to bottom. Whoever licences this organization should revoke it and shut down this operation at once.
Nurses aides are out of control in this operation. They don't tell landlords what repairs they feel are necessary, instead call city officials before they report it to the landlord.in addition, most of the repairs necessary are the tenants responsibilities.
Discussing this problem with the owner, her answer was that she didn't hear this before and personally refused and also had her entire staff refuse phone calls from me. I then called corporate office in Philadelphia who told me that they would call her and have her call me to discuss these problems. Again, she refused to call.
I then decided that visiting angels needed to be replaced. What they did after being replaced most people would call criminal.
They solicited the tenant to move out of the apartment and into an apartment with a former visiting angel employee. They then solicited the tenant to get a new health care provider which would subcontract visiting angels again. They also solicited a new payee so the tenant would not continue to pay rent under his current lease agreement, but to the new landlord, the former visiting angel. There are reasons that this employee was released from visiting angels among which are the relationships she was having with the tenants.
Over two thousand dollars for this tenant came from taxpayers to assist him in relocating into society from a nursing home. Visiting angel employees had total disreguard for the taxpayers of this state by playing the major role in moving the tenant to a new apartment with the idea to no longer pay rent and put this new tenant into a lawsuit for their own personal profit. Visiting Angels employees also assisted in moving the tenants belongings is a total violation of what nurses aides are permitted to do.
Since the owner of Visiting Angel doesn't want to hear of this, would not accept phone calls, we feel that she is supports illegal activity and is only interested in her bottom line, how much money can I make. If this is the way this company gets their business or wants to prove to people that they don't loose business only proves the point that this kind of business needs to be shut down at once.
