Mac McKinney is a scam artist!!! In following Hurricane Katrina, Mr.
Mckinney claimed he was collecting donations for the American Red Cross Katrina
Relief, my grandfather donated $2,000 to him, McKinney claimed all the money was going towards helping the victims of the
disaster. He was wearing a shirt which
read "Red Cross, " and he had donation boxes with Red Cross logos all over them,
he even set up a little Red Cross booth at the park on weekends, it looked
legit, he requested that people preferably donate cash, because according to him
that way it will reach the victims faster. Last week, which was 5 yrs later, he
was arrested, by the feds. It was revealed that he pocketed over $78,000 in his
little Katrina scam, and he didn't even give one penny out of it to the victims
of the disaster, it was also revealed he targeted mostly the elderly with his
scam.
