8.09.07 @ 9:00 A.M. Pepsi deliverer forced me out of my handicapp parking space because he said he has to do his job.
Told cashier at The corner store gas station and she says he has to make his delivery.
Told manager and she said oh.
Called Pepsi and Katie the insurance adjuster said we don't condone that behavior and offered me $250 to take my familiy to dinner. I was told this was a good will gesture even though he admitted his actions.
When I gave her a much higher settlement, she said we don't have a insurance claim for what he did. I said he discriminated against me, used a very threatning tone, nor did know what my disability is.
I want a settlement, Karen said my figure is way off from what they would even consinder but they were not going to counter offer. Then she said that that gas station said he could park there. Well, he's parked illegally and he forced someone out of the handicapp space. I guess that's okay with Pepsi.
I tried to handle this with out making it public and just getting legal advice not hiring an attorney. But, since Karen said they were not putting a dollor amount for this delivery person actions. So now, I want everyone to know what kind of company Pepsi is.
I have not be able to find out who the owner of the Corner store gas station is yet. I am suing them too. Katie is not an attorney and refuses to tell me who she is relaying the messages to at the company. I tired of these big companies with there atitudes of "I'm just one person and one person boycotting is no big deal" Yes it is. I want this e-mailed to everyone all over the world. How many people with disablities drink pepsi products or eat at their restruants? Well, I do not have the number but I want to make an impact.
