UPDATE to a complaint posted several days ago about FLORIDA ASSUMED NAME SERVICES: It appears the company's so-called address in Tallahassee, Florida is actually, a UPS store; the actual company is located in Lansing, MI and named Pro-Maxx Enterprises. The principal owner of the company is currently listed as a Mr. Steven Fata. If you google "Steven Fata, Lansing, MI", you'll find a story written in the Milwaukee-Journal Sentinel from September about a company affiliated with a Mr. Steven Fata that was involved in illegal and fraudulent practices involving the solicitation of $125.00 from consumers. After trial, a settlement was agreed upon, and the company had to pay several hundred thousand dollars in restitution to bilked consumers.
