I been a verizon customer for awhile now under my grnadmother and branched off under my own. I had a smartphone moto Q with everything included. I never really used the interent so a women with verizon wireless suggested to use pay as you go because i was paying for a service i didnt use. So in 2008 i decided to use pay as you go but only for emergency. It wasnt until november i decided to use pay as you go. I would ise the internet for 10-15 min after 9pm because i really didnt want to be on for long. When i got off line i would check to see if my balance changed but it didnt. I said ok maybe i need to wait 24hrs. Nothing happened so i figure maybe its not included because i used it during my free hours. Last week my cell phone sent me a text message that data has exceeded it limit. I checked my balance and it was the same and i checked minutes and it was fine.

Well i usually check my phone to see what my balance is and i go to the store and pay it. Today 12-10-09 the statement came (which when it does i already pay the bill) i opened it and my bill was 500 dollars.$105.00 of that is monthly balance and the data was 440.00. I tried calling customer service and explaining my situation is she said i was suppose to use # data to check data usage. I told her no one never told me that, thats why i kept checking the balance to see if anything was being added. She said my statment should have the info posted. She told me which page and there it was but i told her no one not even the women over the phone who suggested use pay as you go told me that. If that was the case i wouldnt of been constantly checkn my balance. I was doing the right thing checking but suposebly it was the wrong system. I even went down to the store and they felt i should of got a 1 time courtesy waiver. Its my first time something like this has happened and they denied me that. I even said i take the pay as you go off if this is how the system is ran. I been with verizon since i been in school. Im srry but $ 440.00 is too much money and even though i got the notice the week before obviously the limit was still high. I just feel if everything can go through the phone why should the paper statment show an amount but the phone doesnt. The lady mentioned because everything totals up at the end... Im just pissed how everything went down
