Charge ME shipping for a defective product?

I am being charged $10 for shipping for the replacement of a DEFECTIVE PRODUCT that YOU sold me - this is outrageous and makes me want to make sure that other people I know don't make the same mistake I did and sign up with your company. If you sell a DEFECTIVE PRODUCT, it seems only right that I shouldn't have to pay ANYTHING to have that fault OF YOURS rectified. You have a poor sense of Customer Support and I will go out of my way to let others know how awful your Customer Support service is.
