Last month my smartphone samsung galaxy y duos lite had some software problem. It had a software malfunctioning. It was in warranty but when I took it to the sector 17, s. C. F. 23 first floor samsung service center, I was treated very rudely. The people there said that i have voided my phone's warranty and moreover they said that the motherboard of the phone had corrupted and 3,000 rupees would be required to fix the problem. I was suggested to buy a new phone and discard galaxy y duos. I was very disappointed with their service. I then asked in local mobile repair shops about the charges to repair the phone and came to know that it would cost around 300 rupees. Then without taking any chance i gave my handset to the nearest mobile repair shop at Sec-7 C, Chandigarh, for my own convenience, who charged Rs. 700/- & afterwards my phone is working perfectly and as good as new. Though samsung is a very good company but i had not expected such greediness and irresponsible behavior from their service center. Now if in future something happens to my phone again i will have to spend money from my own pocket just because the service center has declared my phone out of warranty. I am really disappointed. I request the higher authorities to take strict action against the erring staff of the sector 17 scf 23 service center and refund my 700 rupees with interest expenditure which i had invested in the repairs of my smartphone.
