My mother had bought me a Samsung computer for Christmas 12/24. The very first time I started it up, the laptop had problems. So I sent it in to be fix. Samsung sent it back working worse then I sent it in, after "fixing" the NEW computer with refurbished parts!
I ended up sending it in a 2nd time because I was not able to use it. They told me it would only be a week turn around, but ended up keeping it for 3 weeks. So I finally got it back and it still does not work properly!!!
I called Samsung and they finally put in a claim to TRY and get a new computer! I have not heard back from them yet!
When I was on the phone doing the claim, I was told since this is passed 90 days of purchase, I will only get a refurbished computer back.
1st: I was NOT able to use this new computer, so why do I deserve a refurbished?
2nd: This computer was clearly sold to me being defective.
3rd: Every time I called I asked for a new computer but they said no. They finally put in a claim after 90 days!
4th: I wasted 3 months with no computer in college! And still continuing!
5th: I only went passed the 90 days because they lied to me and kept my computer for 3 weeks, not 1 week like they told me!
The warranty clearly says they CAN send me a new one!!!
I am still waiting to see if they will even accept my claim!
If they do, my mom pretty much spent all that money for a defective computer and then just to get a refurbished one???
NO! Samsung is not keeping their word on good customer service and they are an awful company for selling defective products, lying and taking peoples money!
Please help me fix this!!!
