I purchased 7 items on Cyber Monday with Affliction at 75% off. I was told they were in stock and received an email that they would be shipped the next day. I received an email 5 days later that only one of the items was shipped. I called to find out what happened to the other 6 items and was told they were out of stock and they would not honor my purchase. I was told I could buy other items for 20% off. How is that compensation? 75% off is a huge difference to 20% off. I am furious because I would have purchased different items on the day of the sale. Now I am tough out of luck. My son likes this clothesline and I purchased them for xmas gifts. I believe this is false advertising. How many times did this happen to consumers from this company? I placed my order early on the day of the sale. I wasn't even notified it was out of stock. Is this just a scam to get people to buy other items? When I inquired as to why they didn't realize it was out of stock and why did it take 5 days to realize this, I was informed they were having an inventory problem. An inventory problem with 6 out of the 7 items out of stock, Really. I am not buying it. Another scam. The best compensation they could give was 20% as per their manager Marcus who told me this came directly from Corporate. Just had to vent
