I got an alert from my bank about unauthorized charges on my credit card account. I checked it out and sure enough there was a $1.00 charge from a company I'd never shopped from or heard of (Hydrasupport.com). Upon the recommendation of my bank I had my credit card cancelled and they issued me a new one. Thankfully, it was for only $1.00 but it could have been more or more often. It was an inconvenience to wait 5-7 days for a replacement card but my peace of mind can handle that.
