Consumers I was victim yesterday of USA credit. I woke up, checked my bank account and there it was, a debit to my account from this company I never heard of. I called the 800 number linked to there name right away, they said that they were unable to discuss this account with me. I went into my bank and thankfully since I was quick to act, they were able to reverse the charge, close my account and put a fraud alert connected to it. Luckily I was able to retain my money back, so my first advice is act quick.
When my husband card later last night this is what we learned: The company is charging for you to obtain a credit card, but it is not a regular credit card, it is a shopping card for you to shop on their site. The fee is the "set up" fee. We did not apply for this card as I am sure most people do not. They said that by accepting another offer online, we accepted their terms.
It is a tricky thing they have going on, my bank suggested never giving my bank information to anyone, especially over the internet. Good luck to everyone, they get you before you know it.
