I was sent a text on my phone stating that I had won a free $1000.00 Target gift card from my entry last month and to go to TargetContests.net and enter my winning code of 84758 within 24 hours to receive my gift card. I have never entered any contest with Target last month or ever for that matter. The number the text came from was 909-762-0659. I called the number and there was only a recording stating the phone number and that the mailbox was full and couldn't receive any messages. I then proceeded to investigate the website and that was when I seen some other reports of this scam. The proper authorities really need to put a stop to this scam quick. Luckily flags went up immediately and I caught on right away!
