An unrecognized pending purchase authorization for 11/23 showed up on my online view of my checking account on the morning of 11/24, in the amount of $2.50. The following morning, that charge remained pending but a second unrecognized pending purchase authorization in the amount of $39.95 appeared as well, with a date of 11/24.
In response to the first charge, after attempting to phone the number given at the web address and not getting through, I immediately contacted my bank's customer support number and informed them of the unrecognized charge from 11/23. They made a note on my account and as soon as both charges post to the account I will file a fraud report. I made no purchase on either date, but had made a donation using that same card to a non-profit organization, whom I notified just in case they had been hacked, resulting in the compromise of that card's information. My banking institution will reverse the charges when they actually post.
