Received an unsolicited text from "Ofelia. [email protected]" (variations of this address may be seen) notifying me of winning 4th place in a competition I didn't enter. A four digit code was attached to receive my prize. It's a marketing and possibly financial scam. You can make up any four digit code and it will read "valid" upon going to the webpage. I highly recommend you DO NOT follow through with filling out any personal information or requested actions.
At best they'll sell your personal info and you'll be flooded with spam, at worst you could be the victim of identity theft.
