I received a bogus text message stating I won a free $1000 gift card from this phone number. This message is a scam for this individual to obtain personal information and possibly steal your identity. DO NOT enter any information on the Targetcontests.com site.instead, go to the REAL Target website under "contact us" and send in a complaint including the phone number and message content you received. Target will have to contact the Verizon Wireless Fraud team to have these messages stopped since Target is the one being impersonated. Even though You and I know not to enter any of our personal information, some people are more trusting and could become the victims of identity theft. No fun! Let's help put a stop to this loser.
