I received a post card for an unclaimed reward for a gift card to either Wal-Mart or Target. They have a phone number 1-855-667-8744. When you call there they tell you that yes, indeed you will get a $100.00 in gift rebates and you will receive your card upon paying $2.99. This I did with a credit card, stupid, but this card is no longer valid. The amount went through on it and I was promised a card and an offer for a "Club Rebate" membership which I could deny and would receive the credit card anyway. This was about two weeks ago. I was promised to receive the packet today, 11/20. No packet arrived. When I called the number given to me by they originating office, 1-888-494-8400 the robot says that I have called when they are not there or that all lines are busy. They suggest that you leave you phone number and a message which I have done numerous times—to no avail. I think this is a scam so that is why I am reporting it. I have given you as much information that I have. The date is happened is app. As I do not have my bank statement showing the withdrawal.
