I have found at least two debit entries on my T C Services account which, I believe, are in respect of trial products that I agreed to receive, in return for payment of a nominal sum, with the understanding that I would pay a monthly charge by direct debit if I chose to follow the prescribed course.
It turned out to be a course that was of no interest to me, so I contacted the company, by e-mail, advising that I did not require the next delivery (it was supposed to be a monthly supply) and that any debits in respect of this course should not be processed.
I have never received any further deliveries - which is fine - but the direct debit charges still appear to be being passed through my a/c.
The details are as follows:
19/10 £ 35.25 shown as Healthstore 8883760
16/11 £ 34.50 shown as Natlhealthprod.com
I am sure that there was another entry in October (for about £ 30-£35) but the on line statement does not go back far enough and I only receive postal statements quarterly, so I can’t check this or provide any details.
I have accessed Nathealthprod.com on the internet and it appears from info. On the site that this is a scam which has trapped a number of people.
I will submit details on this website to the group that is acting to attempt to recover money taken without authority.
There follows a copy of my original complaint against the alleged supplier.
I have tried the two products that were on special promotion last month (PROMO2214) and was disappointed to find them to be totally ineffective.
Therefore, please cancel my direct debit immediately.
I note that I have been debited with a charge for the two items to be supplied for a further month.
I can connfirm that no further supplies have been received, so I would ask you to cancel any planned delivery.
Should the products already be on their way please supply a return address so that I can immediately return them..
I do not wish to receive any alternative products in exchange, just the return of the amounts deducted from my account within the past week or so.
Since you quote 24/7 availability, I really wanted to speak to somebody in your company, but I have tried ringing both telephone numbers quoted on the original packaging slips and on one number was kept on the line for a long time awaiting an agent to be free (I eventually gave up).
The second number went immediately to voicemail, so I have had to deal with this by e-mail which is unsatisfactory.
Please confirm receipt of this e-mail, cancellation of the direct debit. And the return of the two October charges. Made to my account
If the unwanted products do eventually arrive, I will need a return address.
Incidentally, the original supply ran out about a week ago so, had I wished to continue to use the tablets on a daily basis, as specified, I would not have been able to do so.
I think you need to investigate these failings since it can only harm your business if other customers encounter any (or all) of the problems quoted above.
I look forward to your early response.
