I was called on 11/14 by Michael Pittman in reference to a loan that he stated I was approved for, and I needed to get to a fax so he could fax over the loan paperwork. I did so, then was informed that in order to get the loan I needed to secure it with the 1st five payments of $945, I did send the money via green dot as instructed by Mr. Pittman and the money would be in my accountwithin 24 hrs. The next morning Mr. Pittman called and said the lender was requiring me to insure the loan with $1000. After discussing this in detail and informing Mr. Pittman of my concerns of not receiving the loan, and requesting a refund if the loan did not go through, Mr. Pittman stated that this was the lenders doing and I would get a refund if I didnt receive the loan. So I went ahead and sent the money again via green dot. I called Mr. Pittman gave him the numbers and was told I would have the money within 3-5hrs. Of course that didnt happen, I phoned Mr. Pittman and he told me to be patient I would receive the loan. Today Mr. Pittman called me earily this morning stating that they were having phone problems and asked if I had tried to call, told him no, then he proceeded to tell me that the lender was requiring that the insurance be paid in the full amount which would require me to send another $1000.informed him I didnt have anymore money and would like a refund because this wasnt what was stated the day before. Asked why wasnt this brought up before and he stated that he was talking to an agent of the lender and the lender called him directly and was requiring full payment of the insurance before the loan could be released. I said that doesnt sound right and wanted a refund. Mr. Pittman said that couldnt be done again and stated he had a meeting and to call him back when I was ready to recieve the fax of the letter guarantee of the loan. That is where we are right now.
