This person is not ethical and is not taking proper care of her cats.
We purchased a cat from this individual and had many doubts to begin with. We proceeded because we really wanted a cat for our family. Our cat has since passed away from genetic health issues that we decided we would never contact this breeder again. When we went to her house she had many cats running around and a very strong smell of urine in her home. She had a toddler screaming and mishandling the cats in a very rough way. Once she even picked them up by the neck and dropped a very young kitten. Also the breeder disclosed a cat was in the garage because he had ringworm and of coarse our cat ended up getting this horrible skin condition that we spent a large amount clearing up. Our cat also had chronic resp.infections and a terrible eye infection. Our cat had a problem with breathing and vomiting leading us to believe it had a virus due to the many cats she had running all around the house. Our cat also suffered from chronic runny stool to the point of bleeding. We did everything to help our cat recover from a sick home but ultimately there was nothing we could do. We suspect she had many more cats in many other areas of her small home.
The worst part is we went to a cat show in Northern Ca, in hopes of buying a replacement kitten and mentioned to another breeder who our bad experience was with and they knew her clearly. They said she had been showing a cat that bit someone and most of her cats were sick. They confirmed our feelings.
I would avoid at all costs this breeder and would not support her. She does not seem to have the time and love for this beautiful breed of cats. We decided to not contact her and give this information to help anyone else in search of a purebred cat. We miss our cat dearly and know if we had gone to another more reputable breeder this would have not happened to us.
