SCAMMER, LEGAL CROOK Michigan attorney Norman R. Robiner and his paralegal clerk shes a slickster too Nadine M. Koppin they work in the Greater Detroit Area railroaded me in my divorce procedures I have the court papers to prove it. Their Law office is nothing but a front to take advantage of the less unfortunate during troubling times costing me hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages. WARNING! BEWARE, DANGER, GO TO A COMPETENT LAW FIRM that will get you positive results IT WON'T BE WITH NORMAN R. ROBINER! Is what I wish someone had told me before I decided to hire Norman R. Robiner. He was the first attorney I hired in my adult life 12 years too long I stayed with him not realizing he had misrepresented me through out my entire divorce procedures. All he wanted was my money!!! And today I am still suffering from his aftermath of lies and betrails. He discriminates against me being I am a woman of color, 100% permanently disabled mentally and phycically, and he hates children. He used my disabilities to scam me out of thousands of dollars never getting me relief none nothing zero. It all began back in 1998 when I returned home to Michigan I had a furniture claim so I looked in the yellow pages and sadly to say I choose Norman to take my case. The second case I had given him was my divorce a marriage that lasted of 18 years with two miner beautiful children that I love more then I love my self. I filed divorce papers and rushed the papers to Norman to complete. I am 100% disabled due to many tramatizing very serious circumstances. Listed below is what what I found out years later but by then damage was done.
1) He let my Michigan divorce be dismissed and didn't tell me he was plaining to let it be dissmissed with possible DAMAGES THAT COULD AND DID OCCUR, which I'm still suffering over his bad dicition.
2) The same day in the same court house he lets my divorce be dissmissed he waits to file the furniture claim he got a $30,000.00 settlement.
He lied in the furniture claim court documents when asked: Do the party have any PENDING or PREVIOUSLY filed domestic relation cases with the court? He lied and said "NO" and signs his name. I was shocked to this day I still have many emotional set backs due to his bad dicition making and GREED. I didn't know the furniture claim was considered marrital property. Norman knew this and kept this big secret to him self, he knew if he had been honest the furniture claim would have been divided in divorce court and he DIDN'T WANT ANY THING GETTING IN THE WAY OF HIS 1/3 of the money cliam.
I was taking document to Norman regarding settling my divorce equiduable distribution I didn't know my divorce had already been DISSMISSED over a year. He mislead me so bad I thought I was later divorced when I wasn't.
3) To add to the damages and harm he caused me NORMAN R. ROBINER SENDS ME OUT OF STATE for divorce when my ex husband filed telling me to give him more money and he'd over sea the case from Michigan and he'd find me lawyer out of state who he'll be communicating with on my behalf. And to pay the lawyer $3,000.00. I thought I had the dream team of attorneys come to find out years later I didn't have no representation in court the day my ex divorce went through. My ex got his wish a "absolute divorce" and nothing else. I found this out after parting ways with Norman. All the legal good or informative advice I got came from other lawyers not Norman.
4) When I went to out of state for the ED hearing things were so bad I thought I was at my own funeral the only thing missing was the cuffin. None of the changes were made to the divorce decree Norman and I discussed. I fired Norman referal on the spot. There was no way I was signing my name on papers that were a dead end with no fairness. Every thing was for benefiting my ex not me and the kids.
5) I flew back to Michigan feeling I had just had the world of justice taken snatched robbed of I and my kids rights to a fair trail. My body shaking jerking upset stomach sick from head to toe I was taking medications from the court house and months following this ordeal to clam me down. I replayed things over and over again in my head now more time is wasted I'm out of more money for attorney fees, hotel, rental car fees, airline round trip fees.
6) Within 24 hours of my return to Michigan I contacted Norman explaining to him nothing went went as planned Norman says OKAY FOR $3,000.00 I'll do your EQUIDUABLE DISTRIBUTION AND CHILD SUPPORT as he bashed his referal for doing less then fair work.
7) Do to the urgency of the up coming out of state court date reschudling in less then 2 months I pawned $6,000.00 of my jewelry that I never got out of pawn I got Norman his $3,000.00. I also requested a copy of the court file for Norman he and I disscussed the matter at hand and approaching court date. I signed Normans CONTRACT since I trusted him and he knew my case all to well.
8) Prior to the court date I called Norman emailed him reminding him of the important court ED hearing he assured me he'd contact the out of state court.
9) Norman began making excuses as to why he wanted to wait before serving my ex one was he wanted to wait until he returned from overseas. A year had passed before he returned stateside and when he did I inform Norman when he was returning home Norman began yelling at me cursing and very upset YOU STOP TALKING TO HIM.
10) I INFORMED nORMAN AGAIN THAT MY EX WAS PREPARING TO MOVE BACK WHERE THE DIVORCE TOOK PLACE. I then gave Norman his new address where the divorce took place.
11) Norman OKAY! OKAY each time I'd call Norman it was OKAY
12) Now two years were approaching I have been going back and forth to my doctor with divorce problems being prolonged he placed me on VERY STRONG MEDICATIONS were was so strong I didn't like how my head felt like a hot air balloon being filled.
13) I was calling Norman crying begging pleading please help me please.
14) Norman began with more excuses delays as if he were helping me. He said he was going to make a appointment with FRIEND OF THE COURT, I didn't want to wait so I went up there I took the papers to Norman and had a appointment with him. Norman later tells me to go back up to FRIEND OF THE COURT and get the same papers I had just given him so I did.
15) The lady at friend of court called me tellingme to RUSH and bring her my divorce decree I told her my attorney had it and we were coming up there to have a meeting. She said MS. - we can not both help you our work will over lap. And you don't need a appointment you can just walk in. I told Norman he said he could do more to help me then FRIEND OF COURT.
16) I waited for Norman days turned into weeks turned into months. I began loosing it one night I was crying so I called NORMAN and asked with a firm voice tone "ARE YOU GOING TO HELP ME OR NOT" and thats when he told me "NO"
17) Waiting on Norman my ED claim got DISMISSED, my children were 17 and 18 years old by the time I got a lawyer right after we parted ways. And the contract I signed with him he had some sort of clause in it (I haven't read it to this day) that prevented me from getting a dime back. Discovered in my ex divorce file Norman clerk NADINE KOPPIN SIGNED HER NAME AS NOTARY as if I agreed to a divorce that says I and the kids get nothing. Norman denied every thing he and i discussed.
