I noticed a charge on my checking account for $19.65 for Diet Leader MD, Austin TX USA. This charge took place on a Sunday at a time when my wife and I were both at home and neither was online. What struck me as odd was the fact that upon calling them at 888-554-8597, the gentlemen was steadfast in stating that someone with my card's information (correct address, phone #, email) supposedly opened the account for this scam of an online medical services provider. Although they assured me that the charge is being cancelled and that it'll be refunded to my account, it's beyond ridiculous that the charge happened in the first place. I'm wondering how many of these charges go unnoticed each day?
