I was called and asked to come in for an interview for the position of benefits coordinator for this company. When I arrived there, I began to ask the receptionist behind the desk what they did, was told by another person that I would find out during the interview. I persisted and the receptionist told me they were recruiting for managerial and administrative positions, whichever I was the best fit for. Until I was in the in. Office and told it would cost me $799.00 up front to get a license to sell insurance was I alerted that the only reason I was there was to be recruited as an insurance agent! I want to be compensated for my wasted time and gas. They could have told me this over the telephone! I am very upset and angry. Apparently I am not the only one being duped like this. There were other persons in the interviewing area who though they were being interviewed for positions such as "customer service representative". I would like this company to quit offering jobs when all they are doing is recruiting potential insurance salespersons.
