I was just sent a text saying I won $1000 gift card and I had 24 hrs to redeem it. I thought it was strange that I even got the text because I didn't enter any contest. But, I've had a problem with identity theft in the past and I assumed that somebody used my info and I may have benefitted this time. When I clicked on the link in the text message, the website said I had 4 minutes left even though the text came a few hours earlier. When they asked for my info, I knew then that it was a scam because all of that info would have been on file if I did enter any contest. Here's the phone number I got the text from and the code.
