I went online to get help putting together a resume and saw resume companion llc's offer for a $4.95 one time resume service. Eleven months later i notice a $29.95 electronic billing from the company. I immediately called the company and was told i had been charged this same amount for the last 11 months, but the company representative instantly said my account was cancelled. I asked when my account was cancelled and she said by this call. So i called and without asking my account was cancelled, sounds like the call center personnel knew exactly what to do with long dormant accounts that were calling with questions about automatic credit card charges. This is very poor business practice and borders on deceptive and fraudulent activities. I disputed all charges with my credit card company since resume companion will not refund any monies. My next writing will be to the state of maryland division of corporations and the state attorney general's office.
