It seems that safecart took control of my computer without my permission and caused errors that they then wanted to fix for me. Their employee assured me that they were Microsoft certified (though this certification under these unscrupulous conditions seems to make no positive difference). Safecart did fix the problem, thank goodness, as they had control of my computer and it appeared that this company created an internet problem by having control of my computer and then told me they would go into my computer and fix the problem. I told the safecart employee that I needed to contact My internet support company to fix the problem, but safecart assured me I needed them to fix the problem (as safecart were Microsoft certified technicians. Safecart wanted to sign me up for $399.95 for two year's service and wanted me to cancel my subscription with the other support company. Feeling under duress, I felt no choice but to try to comply, but I couldn't because I had been with the other company for over thirty days. I ended up with my bank account being overdrawn due to safecart's seemingly unscrupulous way of soliciting business, and I have not yet received the refund of $399.95 that safecart promised me. I am reporting this incident to the FBI, to try to protect myself and others in the future from this type of snare and sell tactic.
