John Hart Real Estate Redefined
Received False Advertisement claiming Public Auction on Owner Property

This is the second envelope I received with this caption: URGENT (BIG, BOLD, underlined in red, on face of envelope)

Public auction recorded on your property (in black bold)

This is not true! This is very scary to receive in the mail. It is very frightening to receive this.! I open the envelope and a card falls out that gives you $50 from EXXON Mobile (but on the back it tells you to ACTIVATE it.) You must call the (unethical) John Hart Real Estate!

This is just one more way to put fear into people who are already in trauma over losing their property, and get them to open the envelope, and call John Hart Real Estate. The letter ennclosed states that "there is no time to waste" "If you do not take action your property will be sold" — none of this is true.

It is cruel and unethical for a real estate agent to produce this kind of advertising, directed to homeowners who are struggling to save their homes from foreclosure, not knowing where to turn.

In his letter he lists BBB Accredited Business and CDPE! Some people may be taken in by this kind of advertising, which is only geared to get the listing of their home, offering promises, and other, including payment by the homeowner's bank! They go on to offer a gas card between $50 and $200 to receive a free consultation.

The gas card may be legitimate — but it is the envelope, which is not true, to scare homeowners into opening the envelope, thinking they are about to lose their property, and then read about false promises. This is very offensive. Many people may be taken in by the agents at the John Hart business office — using fear to get business. I will also notify the real estate commissioner of this practice.
