I too fell forthe "Free Trial Offer" for Sylk and Vitalyze products whereby I would only be charged the shipping costs of $2.95 each.
Then on my next credit card statement I see a charge for $79.87USD on Sept 18 without my knowledge and consent. The charge appeared as a phone # on my creditcard statement ([email protected] 855-93) so I called the number and discovered that it was an automatic monthly shipment of the product after the trial. At this point I hadn't received any further merchandise than the trial item. I complained and said I did not want the monthly plan and I refuse to pay for anything shipped to me without my knowledge and consent. The woman said I could return it and once they recieve the product they would credit my credit card. They gave me a return authorization code. I received the package about a week later and put the Return Code on the package and wrote "RETURN TO SENDER" and put it back in the mail.
A week or so later the package was returned to me by the postal service.
The problem is I live in Toronto, Canada and the postal service will not return to a US address.
I called back the company and got nowhere.
I tried to dispute the claim with the credit card company as an unauthorized transaction but they claim it's in the fine print on the Trial Offer.
Warning... Never buy/order anything on line that's "Free" because there is always a big charge at the end of the day!!!
