I was looking at my checking account this afternoon when I noticed a $30.00 draft from my account. I printed off the copy of the check and it was dated 10/11 pay to the order of CheckProcess for LoanTree Advances 866-789-3108, [email protected] - I did not apply for a loan with this company. I called them and for 30 minutes plus argued with them about this. I have gone through all my emails, deleted and spam to see if I had anything from this company and I cannot find anything. They wanted me to finish my loan application to recive the loan money. I kept telling them I had not applied and did not want the money. I did want my $30.00 back. I was told my Sandra, the Manager, that they only way I could get the one time processing fee of $30.00 back was if I had not been approved for the loan (which I supposedly applied for on 10/08), but she could cancel the account and send me an email for a $100 gas voucher in 24 - 48 hrs (I will be watching for this email). I informed her that I had seen where they had scammed other people and that I would report them to the appropriate authorities, because what they were doing is illegal.
