On January I bought a Golf 5 from V W Soweto and the mileage was 121000. I received the car without knowing that the 80 point check and the 120000 major full service had not been done. I lodged a complain because the car was not igniting properly. It was then taken for 80 point check only to find that the battery was dead and the wheel tyres worn out. The General Manager decided to only replace two tyres and the battery. Two weeks later I took the car in for a service as it was not done for 120000 major full service. On 12 October I took the car in for 135000 service only to be told that AA13D Tensi Oner, AA14B Water Pump and AA14E Tooth Belt were not changed during major full service (120000) that was done. I was then told to buy the parts that they should have replaced on the 120000 themselves. I have tried contacting the General Manager only to be told that he is in Germany and no one seems to be of any help since he is away. I wonder why a company as big as V W can play so dirty like a back yard garage.
