At the beginning of September I was contacted by Joan Peterson through email stating that I qualified for a 10,000 dollar loan through First National Funding. During this time I had been trying to get a small loan for bills and a car, therefore leading me to think that this was one of the loans emailing me back. When looking up the company online, I found a site and looked it over and found that it was legit, but now I don't if this site is for the FNF in Ohio or Utah. When I talked to Joan, she told me everything that I needed to do to get the loan, and that I had to pay 750 to get half now. Well I put the 750 on a GREENDOT MONEYPAK as instructed and then told her the info from the pack so she can get the money and I could get my loan. Well a couple days later, I still didn't get the loan like she said I would, so I called her back, and she told me that I was supposed to pay 1500 total to get the full amount. I told her that I could only do 500 and she cleared it. After doing the GREENDOT MONEYPAK again and telling her the info, she told me that the loan would be in my account by the end of the day, but it never came. The next day I called her nonstop but she never anwered. Then the day after that when I went into work and did some more research I found out that this company shut down in 2010 and that people were going around saying that they still worked for First National Funding LLC and that your approved but then they take your money and identity. The BBB said that they were commiting identity fraud, but they also took my money that was needed.
