I called Pardons Canada to get a pardon done and they told me it was a flat $600 odd fee, and I asked specifically for other associated costs, they assured me that was all I would have to pay. They did a good sell and I was persuaded, they were the professionals afterall, right? I gave my credit card and they charged me the full amount. But then I started thinking and actually looked around and found information that told me there were additional costs that they did NOT tell me! In fact, right away they asked me to get fingerprinting taken and that was another fee out of my own pocket! As you can imagine, I started seeing red flags and I called Pardons Canada right back asking why they told me SPECIFICALLY that it wouldn’t cost anything more than what I had already paid them. They beat around the bush as you can imagine and refused to give me money back right away. I went through their Terms and Conditions and it SAYS that I can get a refund within 10 days minus administration fees, which is a third of the selling price. I wouldn’t mind paying this amount if they had been honest with me upfront but they've lied outright about that and I am sure I'm getting the run around now
