I should've known that the pricing on the website for the shoes that I ordered was "too good to be true"—I feel like a fool! I paid through paypal and then a couple of days later I had a bad feeling about the whole transaction since the seller did not respond to an email that I sent. I then did some digging on the internet and ended up here and, sure enough, it's a scam. I immediately opened a dispute with PayPal (thank goodness I paid through PayPal!) and then had it escalated with a PayPal rep over the phone. I am not willing to risk having this scammer pull the shower cap or sponge routine on me. PayPal didn't seem to be surprised at all and was familiar with the shower cap or sponge scammers. Keeping my fingers crossed for a good resolution with my $144 promptly refunded. How could I be so stupid?!? I'm usually very internet shopping savvy and stick with legit websites. Lesson learned.
