PNC Bank Customer Complaint

I have seen some companies with very poor customer service, but I have never seen it this bad. I had an Equity Line of Credit established with another bank that was acquired by PNC. This took time and money to establish. Haven't been able to use it as PNC never honored the EOL. Trying to resolve this issue has involved PNC's Customer Service and Retail Escalation departments which have been an absolute nightmare. Hours on hold and countless department connections which tend to get dropped. Commitments to follow-up that never happen. Even written promises of resolution from PNC executives have not been kept. It wasn't my choice to bank with PNC and I have to say that I never would make such a decision. I hope that someday bank acquisition are blocked if a bank has a poor customer rating. Looking at PNC's poor customer ratings, I'm sure that it is hard for PNC to extend its customer base on service and strong reputation. They shouldn't be allowed to get around this by acquiring a customer base. Customers should have some say.
