Was called and prompted to wakanetwork.com. Was told I would receive a $100 free gas card to be redeemed at any gas station; a $10 Walmart card, and something else (don't remember), in exchange for completing basic personal information and credit card (MC or Visa only) at a charge of $2.95. This $2.95 charge was explained as a processing fee. Was told I have a 7-day trial period before I would then be billed a member rate.in order to cancel within 7 days, I was told to call 877-332-1490 and cancellation would then be immediate. I've already tried to call the 800 #, and no one answers. Upon a Google search I found several postings that WakaNetwork is a SCAM. I am know concerned not only about the $2.95 processing charge, but also that I will be charged what they call their 'membership' fees despite trying to cancel now, and also about what other potential fees/charges I will incur.
