I received a letter saying I won the Mega Jackpot drawing held August 5. It stated that I had won 150,000 from the total prize money of 3 million dollars. I was selected from a ramdom computer ballot system drawn from over 50,000 names. They enclosed a check for $3,980.00 of which my taxes were to be $1,995.00 to be paid directly to the tax agent. I was told to contact Samuel Page at (Personal Info Removed) to claim my prize money. It was signed by Lynne Wecley promotion manager. I was going to call but decided to look up the Mellon Group online and found 13 complaints just like mine. This is a really sick joke to pull on people who are struggling honestly every day to survive. What can we do about these type of people and scams?
