Compared to other companies, the end result of the workmanship of our fence was not the best quality, as was promised by the so-called top rated fencing co in Richmond. Once the fence was finished, our walk around inspection proved to find a large amount of sloppy and careless work. Some of it was corrected right away, and the rest was said to be "just the way the wood was! And that we could use wood filler to fix it!" That was not satisfying to hear. Since the fence was completed and a pretty penny paid for it, 3 months have passed, and many posts have split or warped terribly, after the wood was sealed to protect it. Only once did the owner call to ask us how we liked the fence, and if there were any problems. Well, a few boards were again replaced, after another month past, but they still will not replace the large split posts. Maybe they used old lumber, but I guess we will never know. It seems that all they were comcerned about was getting their money, and less concerned that we were completely satisfied with a product that is supposed to last over 20 years. It is already falling apart, and we just want it replaced, so taht we can get what we paid for!
