I received an express notice of a pending payment of $2,536, 092.23. The notice looks official and reads that I need to send a check or money order of $20.00 by 10/4 to have my claim processed and the money sent to me by bonded federal carrier. Couple things I noted, no name typed below the signature of the "director". PO Box??? Really? I'm glad I looked this up online and I hope people are smart enough to not send a personal check with all their account and personal info on it.
