Jim called me a few times last week, then called me back yesterday. He was very aggressive verbally, telling me that my account was past due and that I needed to pay $199.00. My account wasn't even opened until late October last year, and the $199.00 that I paid then was supposed to get me membership for life, or so I was told by my former 'account manager'. I tried to explain to him my understanding of the situation, and he became very aggressive verbally, talking quickly and not letting me get a word in edgewise. I became very upset and started shaking and got a nervous stomach. He told me that I should have notified them so that they could put my membership up for sale through them, but that I'd have to pay the $199 first to renew it then I would get the money back.! This went on for a while, with Mr. Goritsas speaking to me in an accusing tone, saying things like, "Well, you've never even used the account." He then said something about sending my account to another department for disposition or something, in order to deal with "the claim". That was rather threatening language and I asked if he was going to just charge my credit card. He said no, that he would NEVER do that, and besides, my card had expired and I probably had a new expiration date.By this time, I was very upset and finally just hung up. He called back again today and left a message saying that I needed to call him back immediately.
