I am new migrant to New Zealand. I arrived on 1st August on Resident Visas with, my family. I bought 2 degrees pre pay sim in first week of August. To my astonishment I found the voice mail facility working on my sim. I have requested numerous times in the last few days to stop my voice mail facility but till today it is working and no heed has been paid to my request. I am a new migrant and without job in this country. Maintaining one mobile sim is my necessity not luxury as I have to provide contact number to Job recruiters as well as various government agencies. On the other hand while receiving unattended calls from my home landline number (NZ Telecom) I have to pay unneccesarily the voice mail initialising cost of the 2 degrees connection. So who is gonna pay for these extra dollars. Please stop my voice mail service immediately or I am force to take my complaint to appropriate legal authority.
