I foolishly got involved with Welcome Loans who are based in Glasgow. I was looking for a loan as my own bank refused me. I came into contact with Welcome Loans through the internet. I foolishly put my Bank details on their web site. They e-mailed me saying i have not got in touch with their lender. It was stated that I did not need the sum of £69.95 right away, which i did not have anyway, but as soon as my wages went in the took that sum right away. When they sent me an e-mail there was a link, which I did not realise to Greenleaf who then wanted £49.99x2, again i foolishly gave bank details. They were very misleading, giving same story as Welcome Loans, you don't have to pay right away. The services they were offering, which i did not realise at the time was things like; Qiuck Quid loans and Shopacheck that i could have done myself without going through them. I think these two "companies" are linked and it is a scam. I have tried to contact Greenleaf several times on the number provided (0844 8700 817) to no success, I, ve contacted Welcome loans but they keep ignoring me. I feel like an idiot as i was desparate at the time. I think these people take advantage of that. Welcome Loans number; 0844 4889 766, when you phone this number they tell you "this is just a advisory service" e-mail customer services on: customers. Services@welcomeloans. Uk.com. I have even written to them by post and there is no reply I wrote to them about 4 weeks ago
