On Thursday, Sept. 6th I accompanied my brother in law Tim Morgan to the rental agency Sant Tan Rentals to rent a U Haul Truck. They needed a credit card in order to secure the truck. I was assured by the manager Raul (no last name given) that the rental would not be charged to my card and I did not sign any documents stating I would pay for the rental and yet I was charged the initial fee for the day which was (57.76) a fee for (114.26) and a fee for (171.82. So far I've been charged 3 times on my card and left in the negative. The fees were paid on 9/9 for 171.82 from sister Mary Morgan and yet my card was billed on 9/12 for the same amount. I contacted my bank to dispute the charges with no luck, contacted San Tan Rentals, Raul (manager) who told me I was barking up the wrong tree and told me to contact U Haul corporate. I then contacted U Haul (rep Paula Ref#308253) and she also shows the payment made on 9/9 by my sister for 171.82 and the payment using my card on 9/12 for the same amount. I am a victim of fraul and want justice for what has happened to my bank account. Not only was I out the money for the truck but have also incurred 34.in returned check fee. I want a formal apology in the form of a letter from U Haul, San Tan Rentals. I am in the process of securing a loan to purchase a car and house and am furious that no one seems to care.
