Cancellation of membership after registering a formal complaint of services misrepresented.
After making a formal complaint to Company staff that included misrepresentation of clientele numbers, coercion and misleading tactics, my complaints went unaddressed. I asked that my file go to an "inactive" status while I consulted an attorney. Finding that I am unable to sue in order to get my money back, I approached the company to get a statement of my membership. If I couldn't get my money back, I would make the best of the service I paid greatly for.
I discovered that my membership was cancelled.
Furthermore, I have learned that I am not the first to get taken by this company. The Arizona Attorney General sued the firm in 2009 and other states have similar suits.
I was amazed.
Maybe something can be done.
