The Urocktour claims to give independent artists a platform to showcase their talent
for FREE but what does it really offer?
I was contacted in April by Urocktour Tour Manager Damont Maye-Nickson and asked if I wanted to be a judge and help promote their Miami show.
Here is some info about Damont Maye-Nickson that I wish I knew about
before I got involved with the tour...

He has zero relevant music experience and has lied to hundreds possibly thousands
of artists all over the country by telling them he could put them in front of "Top"
music executives, and have them open up for artists such as T.I., Wale, Jill Scott, Soulja Boy
and others here is the original Urocktour Website flyer...
Not one single artist on this flyer has ever officially had any involvement
with the Urocktour, I am just getting warmed up it gets MUCH better...
The Urocktour also claims that Robert Curry of group Day 26 (Atlantic Records)
is the co-founder of the tour but again he has NEVER officially endorsed
the tour on his verified Twitter account despite being tagged hundreds
of times a day by artist that have joined the tour...
Several artist were involved in a fraudulent scheme in which the were told
to pay approximately $350 a month for "Artist Development" from Urock tour
and never got anything... That's What being a "Urock Star" is all about.
Here is a list of UrockTour staff that uses Twitter to defraud artists and
defame as well as slander anyone that expresses their concerns about the tours practices...
@Damont_Mogul
@jaraewomack
@djprimo1
@jerusalemslimm
@GodizGreat87
And others to be listed soon
Several major labels have been contacted regarding Urocktour and none
of them have ever heard of this tour...
