Called and said they worked for microsoft, said I had major infections on my computer, told me to open my start menu and go to a certain file and gave me the number that was on my computer so that I would believe them, said they could fix it, asked them how much it would cost they said oh not a problem don't worry about that, my husband was on or main frame computer with cyber defender our virus protection company fixing our other computer so I asked them about the company and they said its a scam get rid of them now, so I did and the guy called me back and said why did you disconnect and I told him what my virsus protection company said and told him that if a charge ended up on my card I would go after him, he was from checoslevacia, wrong spelling, low and behold a charge for 458.81 was on my card, so my card company said for dispute I have to send in my dispute letter and get my virus company to also send in there letter letting them know what happened as well and the charge will be removed, so my advise to you is copy some of these complaints and send them to your bank or credit card companies and you my have a chance to get you money back, because my virus defender company said it is a scam that is going around right now.
