I am from St. Louis, MO. And my fiance is employed at home depot. She was given a offer letter to transfer to Atlanta for better opportunity, yet home depot is not holding up their end of the bargain. We relocated with nothing and broke our lease agreement in St. Louis at the residence that we were staying at with the hopes that Home Depot stands on their word. Since our arrival in Atlanta, Home Depot has been literally playing games with the offer settlement that was suppose to be given. All the mishaps with the paper work has set us back to being stuck on Atlanta streets with no where to go. Not to mention that I left my clients for business in St. Louis to relocate with my fiance. So now my business is not workable here until I build my clients here with my occupation as a photographer. We have no one here, no money, and basically stuck somewhere we not use to. These are legitimate reason why I will like to seek damages. My complaints is my complaint and not my fiance. I want to file a law suit asap against Home Depot. We were suckered by this company and now they are not trying to make sure that their out of town employees are settle in right in a state that we have no one in to help us. They can at least offer us somewhere to live until they release and stop playing with the offer money they granted in her letter. Now we are forced to try to make it back to St. Louis today with nothing, no money, nor gas because we don't have anywhere to go or stay until they release the funds. This is forcing her to leave (quit) the job with nothing after we gave up everything we had in St. Louis to get here for Home Depot. We sold everything in our home to relocate for this company. Now the Home Depot has provoke us to either leave back out of Atlanta, back to St. Louis with nothing, no home, no furniture, no money. This is not right to have some one make a career change for a company, and now we are left with nothing because of it. Our family is sleeping in our car, and all Home Depot wants is for the workers to come to work everyday and has no concern about their out of town employers. The worst hospitality ever from a big company like home depot.
