On 7/20 Marcus Milton ask to write a check to me, in order for him to get cash from his bank account. His story did not add up, however, I thought the monies would come from his account and not mine. The check was cleared on 7/24. He immediately wanted the money that was cleared by my bank. I gave him the money. On 8/1 the bank notified me that the check he wrote me was returned due to a closed account. I was left to cover the lost expenses that my bank paid out to him.
I am working with the law enforcement team to arrest this man for theft and to not get the opportunity to make any new victim.
