My name is Barry Powell. I have been in the real estate business for 34years. I employed Jimmie Brown, an Attorney, Texas Bar No. 03141210. He was maintaining files on trusts for me and he took on an obligaion to protect the interests of the beneficiaries on the various trusts. I found Mr. Brown to be incompetant, disorganized and he has terrible grammer. I had to call my secretary late one evening about 11pm to ask where some missing files were including earnest money. I heard Jimmie laughing in the background and I could tell they were both slobbering drunk. This surprised me because he is a married man. His wife is Larita V. Lockhart-Brown. I terminated Mr. Brown from my employment and he became angry. He filed suit against me because he did not want to pay the monies he owed on a home I had owner financed for him via a Trust. Mr. Brown had bad credit and I helped him when he really needed it. He proceeded to lien all the trusts he had access to claiming I had aninterest in them. The 99% Beneficiaries could not sell their property and he held them hostage demanding anywhere from $3,000 to $4,000 if they wanted him to release his illegal liens. That is about s dishonest as you can get. I encourage each person he did this to, to file a usacomplaints.com because Brown deserves to be discredited for his violations of trust that these innocent people placed in him.
What I learned from this is that Jimmie Brown is different from a dog. You can help a dog and he won't bite you.
